Where are you located?
We’re conveniently located in South Boston. You’ll find our studio at 840 Summer Street, right near East Broadway + L Street. We are on the third floor in Suite 306.
How do I book a class?
You can view our schedule and book classes directly online here. We recommend reserving your spot in advance, as class sizes are limited. Unlimited members can book 4 weeks out and those using class packs can book 3 weeks out.
When does my membership or class pack start?
All memberships and class packs activate upon your first class booking, not on the date of purchase.
Do class packs expire?
Yes—each class pack has a specific expiration date, which is clearly indicated when you purchase. Be sure to check the details so you can plan to use all your classes before they expire. Reminder that the expiration date is based on the date of your first class booking.
I’m new to Pilates. Where should I start?
Welcome! We suggest starting with our Foundations classes, which are designed for beginners. These classes focus on the fundamentals of reformer Pilates, proper form, and building confidence.
Many new clients also enjoy starting with a private session for personalized instruction and to get comfortable with the equipment. We offer $50 off your first private session to help you get started with extra support. Our instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.
What if I am pregnant?
Congrats! For existing clients, as long as you have your doctor’s ok, you’re welcome in group classes through your 2nd trimester. Once you reach your 3rd trimester, we offer private sessions or duets only so we can safely tailor everything to you. If you are pregnant and new to the studio, please email us to discuss. If you are postpartum, please check in with your doctor before returning to Pilates and give yourself plenty of time to ease back in gently. We also may be adding some pre and post natal classes to the schedule - if you are interested, please email info@quinpilates.com so we can keep you in the loop!
Do I need to bring anything?
We provide all the equipment you’ll need, including reformers and props. Please wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing and grip socks (required for safety). If you don’t have grip socks, we have them available for purchase at the studio.
What if I’m running late?
Out of respect for everyone’s experience and for safety reasons, we can’t allow late entry more than 5 minutes after class begins. Please plan to arrive early to settle in.
What is your late cancel and no-show policy?
You must cancel at least 12 hours before class to avoid fees. Cancellations made within 12 hours are considered late cancels and incur a $15 fee, but any class credit used will be returned. If you don’t show up, a $25 no-show fee applies and the credit will also be returned.
How do your waitlists work?
If a class is full, you can join the waitlist up to 8 hours before early morning classes and 90 minutes before all other classes. After that cutoff, the waitlist closes, and any available spots are offered to everyone who was on the waitlist via text message. The spot goes to the first person to confirm.
